WHAT IT IS

Grapefruit is thought to be native to areas in the Caribbean such as Barbados, Jamaica and the Bahamas. The grapefruit tree grows up to 6 -10 metres with round edible fruit ranging in pale pink to yellow in colour.

The essential oil is expressed from the peel of the fruit and has a pleasantly sweet, tangy/tart aroma. 

WHERE DO WE GET IT FROM

Our Grapefruit Essential oil comes from Argentina and is certified organic by the Soil Association.

WHY IS IT SO GOOD

Grapefruit essential oil has potent antidepressant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, aperitif, diuretic, disinfectant, lymphatic stimulant, tonic and anti-infectious properties. 

It encourages beautiful, glowing, smooth and silky skin.

By helping to fight bacteria and greasiness  it is useful to help clean and clear congested skin and treat oily skin.

The oil is naturally rich in Vitamin C and other potent anti-oxidants and phyto-chemicals that greatly boost the skin’s own regenerative abilities and helps reduce oxidative stress by fighting against the activity of damaging free radicals.
